1. What is the Hydro-Rain Contractor Advantage program?
Hydro-Rain Contractor Advantage is an exciting
program that rewards contractors for using the world's fastest and easiest
to install professional irrigation products. Participating contractors
receive training, support, and special benefits to help them succeed. In
addition to the thousands of dollars they save in labor costs, Hydro-Rain
Advantage contractors earn points they can redeem for thousands of
rewards.
2. Who Can Participate ?
All professional landscape and irrigation contractors in the United States and
Canada are eligible to participate through their authorized Hydro-Rain
distributor.
3. How do I Enroll?
Enrolling in the Contractor Advantage program is easy. To qualify, you must (1) have an
account in good standing at an authorized Hydro-Rain distributor and (2)
purchase at least $50 in Hydro-Rain products from that distributor.
If you've done that, your authorized distributor will notify Hydro-Rain that you qualify for the program and your online account will be created. Simply go to the registration page to confirm your enrollment. It's that easy.
It can take up to 6 weeks from the time you make your initial $50 purchase to create your account. If it has been 6 weeks and you cannot enter the website, please see your authorized distributor or call 1- 800-621-4112 for assistance.
4. How do I earn points?
Earning points is easy. Simply purchase Hydro-Rain irrigation products from an
authorized Hydro-Rain distributor and you'll earn points for every dollar
you spend. The more you buy, the more points you earn. There are no clumsy
claim forms to fill out and no need to fax or mail in your invoices. When
you purchase through your commercial account, your authorized distributor
will let Hydro-Rain know how many points you've earned.
5. When can I redeem my points?
You can redeem your points as soon as they post to your online account. Authorized distributors report points earned on a monthly basis, so it may take 4-6 weeks from the time of your purchase before your points are posted to your on-line account.
6. How do I check my points balance?
You can check your points balance at any time by logging into your account at the Hydro-Rain Contractor Advantage Website.
7. What is an Advantage Level Contractor?
All professional landscape and irrigation contractors are eligible to become Advantage Level Contractors. Advantage Level Contractors receive 3 points for every dollar of Hydro-Rain and Blu-Lock products they buy. To become an Advantage Level contractor, you must:
- Understand the Advantage gained from installing Hydro-Rain's built for speed products
- Enroll in the Hydro-Rain Contractor Advantage program
- Remain current in your account at your authorized Hydro-Rain distributor
All Advantage Level contractors have the ability to become Premier Level Contractors, receiving additional points and a whole lot more!
8. What is a Premier Level Contractor?
Premier Level Contractors are the best in the business. As a Premier Level Contractor, you'll receive 5 points for every dollar you spend. But that's not all. To help you grow your business, you'll also receive:

9. How do I become a Premier Level Contractor?
We won't just recommend anyone to our friends. To become a Premier Level Contractor, you must demonstrate certain levels of excellence, including:
- Enroll in the Hydro-Rain Contractor Advantage program
- Remain current in your account at your authorized Hydro-Rain distributor
- Be a licensed contractor through your state or local association
- Be insured
- Pass the Irrigation Association CIC exam, or comparable certification
- Attend a Hydro-Rain product seminar at your authorized Hydro-Rain distributor
- Pass the Hydro-Rain Premier-Level proficiency test
- Receive a recommendation from your authorized Hydro-Rain distributor or Hydro-Rain regional manager
- Re-certify every two years
10. How do I redeem my points?
To redeem your points, simply log in to the Hydro Advantage website and search the rewards catalogue. When you find the reward you've been saving for, add it to your shopping cart and check out. Your points will be automatically deducted.
11. What can I get with my points?
With over thousands of items to choose from, Hydro-Rain Contractor Advantage is sure to offer the perfect reward for your hard work. 12. Are there any charges or fees to redeem my points?
You pay only the points listed for an item.* There are no additional redemptions fees, taxes, or shipping and handling fees to deliver your rewards anywhere in the continental United States. Simply select the item, let us know where you want it delivered, and wait for the delivery truck.
*Additional charges may apply for deliveries outside of the continental United States. Some large items, like refrigerators and big screen television sets, may not be eligible for shipment outside the
continental United Sates.
13. Is the program different for Canadian contractors?
The Hydro-Rain Contractor Advantage program is
the same in Canada as it
is in the United States,
with the following exceptions:
- All transactions conducted in non-U.S. currency will be awarded points according to the current U.S. dollar equivalent. Exchange rates will be based on the exchange rate published in the Wall Street Journal on the day points are uploaded to the Hydro-Rain Contractor Advantage website.
- All points redeemed for account credit at your distributor will also be awarded in U.S. dollars and converted to Canadian currency according to the exchange rate published in the Wall Street Journal on the day your account balance is credited.
- Merchandise rewards will not be shipped directly to Canadian contractors, but will be delivered to your authorized distributor for you to pick up. Please allow additional time for these deliveries. Certain large awards, like refrigerators and televisions sets, may not be eligible for delivery to Canada.
- Some travel rewards include departure flights from U.S. airports only. These rewards do not include travel to the departure airport.

15. Do my points ever expire?
Points are valid for 24 months from they time they post to your online Hydro-Rain Contractor Advantage account, so be sure to use them before they expire.
16. Can my points total be reduced?
Your points balance may be reduced in the following circumstances:
- You returned Hydro-Rain product to your authorized distributor
- You became delinquent in your account with your authorized Hydro-Rain distributor
- You did not redeem your points within 24 months of their posting to your online account
